Itinerary

08:00 – Pick up at Bus rank on Welford Road, opposite the Tigers stadium. Leicester LE2 7AJ

10:00 (approximate) – Arrival in Oxford.

10:30 – We’ll begin the day with a guided tour of Oxford where you can learn about the history and culture of the city. You’ll have free time for the rest of the day to explore the rest of Oxford.

12:00 – Walking tour ends. Free time for the rest of the day.

17:30 – Meet back at the drop-off point for the return journey.

19:00 – Arrive back in Leicester

  • Stroll through the heart of Oxford to explore several of the famous Oxford University colleges. Consider visiting Christ Church College, known for its impressive Tom Quad and the Great Hall featured in the Harry Potter films.
  • Visit the Ashmolean Museum, Britain’s first public museum and a treasure trove of art and artifacts. Explore its extensive collections, including art, archaeology, and historical objects.
  • Take a leisurely walk to admire the picturesque Bridge of Sighs and the stunning Sheldonian Theatre, both iconic Oxford landmarks.
  • Explore the Oxford Botanic Garden, one of the oldest botanic gardens in the world. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and diverse plant collections.

Day trip tickets are non-refundable but can be sold to another participant.

We recommend bringing comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for the weather conditions. Don’t forget your camera, sunscreen, and any personal items you may need during the day.

Yes, we will provide you with the meeting point and departure time well in advance of the trip via email.

Yes, our friendly and knowledgeable UniLife trip leader will accompany you throughout the trip to provide information about the destinations and answer any questions you may have.

Rain or shine, we still travel in the UK.  Please check the weather forecast before you go and wear appropriate clothing such as a waterproof jacket and good footwear for rainy days.

If you can no longer attend the trip, it may be possible to sell your ticket to another participant.

You can do this by contacting support@unilifeuk.com with your name, the trip you are travelling on, and full name, e-mail and phone number of the person taking your ticket.

UniLife is a student travel company and is aimed at students, however, we welcome anyone on our trips. We believe the more, the merrier.
