  • We begin our trip with a coach pick-up from the pick-up point. Our trip leaders will ensure that everyone has arrived and is ready to depart.
  • We’ll begin our day by visiting Cardiff Castle. Explore the stunning architecture and historical significance of this iconic landmark.
  • After lunch you’ll have free-time in the afternoon to explore the rest of what Cardiff has to offer.
  • We’ll then be returning back to the pick-up spot after an unforgettable day.
  • Stroll to the nearby Cardiff City Hall, an impressive Edwardian building, and take in its grand architecture.
  • Visit the National Museum Cardiff, located just behind the City Hall, to explore its rich collection of art, archaeology, and natural history.
  • Explore Cardiff Bay, one of the city’s modern and vibrant districts. Explore Mermaid Quay, a waterfront area with shops, cafes, and beautiful views of the bay. Don’t miss the Pierhead Building and the Senedd (Welsh Parliament) nearby.
  • See the historic Cardiff Central Market. It’s a great place to pick up souvenirs and local products.

Day trip tickets are non-refundable but can be sold to another participant.

We recommend bringing comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for the weather conditions. Don’t forget your camera, sunscreen, and any personal items you may need during the day.

Yes, we will provide you with the meeting point and departure time well in advance of the trip via email.

Yes, our friendly and knowledgeable UniLife trip leader will accompany you throughout the trip to provide information about the destinations and answer any questions you may have.

Rain or shine, we still travel in the UK.  Please check the weather forecast before you go and wear appropriate clothing such as a waterproof jacket and good footwear for rainy days.

If you can no longer attend the trip, it may be possible to sell your ticket to another participant.

You can do this by contacting support@unilifeuk.com with your name, the trip you are travelling on, and full name, e-mail and phone number of the person taking your ticket.

UniLife is a student travel company and is aimed at students, however, we welcome anyone on our trips. We believe the more, the merrier.
