Itinerary

We begin our trip with a coach pick-up from the pick-up point. Our Trip Leaders will ensure that everyone has arrived and is ready to depart.

We will make our way down to Dover for our ferry crossing over to Calais.

We will arrive in Amsterdam in the morning, where you will be able to drop off your bags before heading out to grab some lunch and explore the city.

In the afternoon, your Trip Leaders will help get you checked into the hostel.

You will have free time for the rest of the day!

We’ll arrange a private guided tour of the city so you can uncover Amsterdam’s hidden gems, historic neighbourhoods, and cultural highlights.

Here are some recommendations for things to do:

  • Stroll through the charming Jordaan district, known for its narrow streets, boutique shops, and art galleries.

  • Explore the UNESCO-listed Canal Ring, learning the stories behind Amsterdam’s iconic waterways.

  • Visit the bustling Albert Cuyp Market for a taste of local Dutch treats like stroopwafels and herring.

  • Step inside the Begijnhof, a hidden courtyard offering a peaceful escape in the city centre.

  • Admire world-class art at the Rijksmuseum or Van Gogh Museum.

  • Discover the trendy De Negen Straatjes (Nine Streets), perfect for unique shopping and café hopping.

It’s an early start, as we head towards Belgium, arriving shortly after in Bruges.

Bruges is sometimes called the Venice of the North, with its romantic canals, cobblestone streets, and beautifully preserved medieval architecture.

We have another private guided tour arranged to give you insight into the history of the fairytale-like town before you’ll have your own chance to explore.

We will head to Brussels with enough time to check in and relax in the evening.

On our first day in Brussels, we will begin a guided walking tour to explore the city’s historic centre, including the breathtaking Grand Place, the charming medieval streets, and some of Brussels’ most iconic landmarks such as Manneken Pis and the Royal Galleries of Saint-Hubert.

Free time for the rest of the day/evening, here are some recommendations:

  • Visit the Magritte Museum or the Museum of Fine Arts for a dose of culture

  • Indulge in Belgian chocolates and waffles at one of the city’s famous shops

  • Relax with a local beer tasting in a traditional pub or modern brewery

  • Wander through the Parc de Bruxelles and enjoy its peaceful greenery

  • Shop in the stylish Sablon district, known for antiques and artisanal boutiques

In the morning, we will begin our journey to Paris. Once we arrive, you will be able to drop your bags with enough time to explore the city before checking in.

After checking in, you will have free time for the rest of the day and evening, here are some recommendations:

  • Explore the charming streets of the Latin Quarter or Montmartre

  • Stop at a café terrace to enjoy coffee, pastries, or a glass of French wine

  • Take an evening cruise on the Seine to see Paris illuminated at night

Its our final guided tour, where you’ll see what millions of people from all over the world visit Paris for. The city has a timeless familiarity for first-time and frequent visitors, with instantly recognisable architectural icons, along with exquisite cuisine, chic boutiques and priceless artistic treasures.

You will get free time after the guided tour in order to explore the rest of this fantastic city further.

Here are some further recommendations:

  • Stroll along the Champs-Élysées and take in the view of the Arc de Triomphe

  • Visit the Louvre Museum or admire the glass pyramid in the courtyard

  • Relax with a walk through the Tuileries Gardens or along the Seine River

Although it will feel like its flown by, its time to end our trip as we hop on the coach and ferry back across the channel
