Kavos is a lively resort town located on the southern tip of the Greek island of Corfu. Known for its energetic nightlife and beautiful beaches, Kavos is the perfect place for a student holiday!

Whilst best known for its lively nightlife, Kavos also offers many stretches of sandy beaches and is the ideal place to enjoy, relaxation, swimming, and water sports. The crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea provide a picturesque backdrop for sunbathing and seaside activities.

Corfu, like many Greek islands, offers a rich and diverse culinary experience that showcases the flavors of the Mediterranean. Whilst there, you absolutely must try some moussaka and treat yourself to baklava. These traditional Corfiot dishes will give you a taste for Greek life!

Itinerary

Please note, this is a sample itinerary. No activities are included unless specified in the ‘What’s Included’ section.

  • You’ll meet with your UniLife trip leaders at your chosen pick-up destination and head to the airport to catch your flight!
  • Once landed at Corfu Airport, proceed through passport control and hop on your airport transfers to the accommodation.
  • Our Trip Leaders will get you checked in and settled so you can make the most of your first evening in Kavos. We have plenty of recommendations from our many trips here, which we’ll share on the group chat so you can start getting to know the city!

A day of free time to explore the city how you like! Here are some recommendations:

  • Head to one of Kavos’ stunning beaches, such as Paralia Kavos, and spend the morning relaxing in the sun or swimming in the crystal-clear waters.
  • Have lunch at a beachside restaurant or beach shack.

In the evening meet your Trip Leaders for an Bar Crawl visiting Malaga’s hotspots!

Here are some things we recommend to do with your free time:

  • There are many activities available in Kavos, pick one or choose to relax on the beach.
  • Activities include: water sports like jet-skiing, parasailing, or paddleboarding.
  • Explore Kavos’ shopping areas, where you can pick up souvenirs or relax at a café.
  • Enjoy delicious Greek cuisine at a local restaurant or café – eat an authentic greek salad and gyros.
  • Finish off the day by heading to the beach to watch a beautiful sunset.
  • We’ll check out of the hostel and put your bags in luggage storage.
  • You’ll have a final chance to explore and see any sights you might have missed!
  • After meeting back at the accommodation, you’ll hop on your transfers back to the airport and board your flight back the UK.
  • Once back, we’ll proceed through to the arrivals area, making the end of the trip. Until next time!
