Explore its mix of historic landmarks, bustling piazzas, and hidden gems for an unforgettable adventure.

Itinerary

Please note, this is a sample itinerary. No activities are included unless specified in the ‘What’s Included’ section.

  • You’ll meet with your UniLife Trip Leaders at your chosen pick-up destination and head to the airport to catch your flight!
  • Once landed in Italy, proceed through passport control and hop on your airport transfers to the accommodation.
  • Our Trip Leaders will get you checked in and settled so you can make the most of your first evening in Naples. We have plenty of recommendations from our many trips here, which we’ll share on the group chat so you can start getting to know the city!

You will spend the morning with the group, learning the history of the city on a guided walking tour.

Following the tour, you will have an afternoon of free time to explore the city how you like!

  • Take time to explore one of the many world-class museums and galleries that this city has to offer. Visit the National Archaeological Museum, home to treasures from Pompeii and Herculaneum. Marvel at mosaics, sculptures, and artifacts from ancient Rome.
  • Stroll around the Tivoli Gardens and enjoy Copenhagen’s world-famous amusement park
  • Enjoy dinner at a traditional trattoria near the waterfront.

A day of free time to explore the city how you like!

  • Venture to the Vomero district and visit Castel Sant’Elmo for panoramic views of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.
  • Explore the Certosa di San Martino, a former monastery with stunning art and architecture.
  • Take a leisurely walk along Via Toledo, Naples’ bustling shopping street, and pop into Galleria Umberto I, a beautiful 19th-century shopping arcade.
  • We’ll check out of the hostel and put your bags in luggage storage.
  • You’ll have a final chance to explore and see any sights you might have missed!
  • After meeting back at the hostel, you’ll hop on your transfers back to the airport and board your flight back the UK.
  • Once back, we’ll proceed through to the arrivals area, making the end of the trip. Until next time!
