Itinerary

  • We begin our trip with a coach pick-up from the pick-up point. Our trip leaders will ensure that everyone has arrived and is ready to depart.
  • Your day will kick off at Bristol’s historic harbourside. Take a leisurely walk along the waterfront, enjoying views of the floating harbour and historic ships.
  • You’ll have free-time for the rest of the day to explore all of Bristol.
  • We’ll then be returning back to the pick-up spot after an unforgettable day.
  • Visit the SS Great Britain, a historic passenger steamship designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Explore the ship and learn about its fascinating history.
  • Walk to Bristol Cathedral, a stunning example of Gothic architecture. Explore the interior of the cathedral and its peaceful surroundings.
  • Stroll to the Clifton Suspension Bridge, an iconic symbol of Bristol. Admire the bridge’s architecture and take in panoramic views of the Avon Gorge.
  • Discover Bristol’s vibrant street art scene in the Stokes Croft area. Admire colourful murals and graffiti art that reflect the city’s creative spirit.

All our trips are fully risk-assessed and our suppliers adhere to our health and safety standards. Please note that, unless an aspect of the trip is explicitly mentioned in the ‘What’s Included’ section of your trip page, it does not fall under our health and safety policy and therefore participants partake in any additional activities at their own risk.

 

We ask participants to be mindful of their own safety and to inform their trip leader of anything that they feel could be a potential hazard or concern.

You will have free time on your trip to spend and explore how you wish! We may include recommendations on the trip page or in the itinerary, but these are merely suggestions and you are under no obligation to follow them.

 

If you are out and about, we strongly encourage you to explore with other members of your group and keep the trip leader up-to-date with your plans.

Day trip tickets are non-refundable but can be sold to another participant.

We recommend bringing comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for the weather conditions. Don’t forget your camera, sunscreen, and any personal items you may need during the day.

Yes, we will provide you with the meeting point and departure time well in advance of the trip via email.

Yes, our friendly and knowledgeable UniLife trip leader will accompany you throughout the trip to provide information about the destinations and answer any questions you may have.

Rain or shine, we still travel in the UK.  Please check the weather forecast before you go and wear appropriate clothing such as a waterproof jacket and good footwear for rainy days.

If you can no longer attend the trip, it may be possible to sell your ticket to another participant.

You can do this by contacting support@unilifeuk.com with your name, the trip you are travelling on, and full name, e-mail and phone number of the person taking your ticket.

UniLife is a student travel company and is aimed at students, however, we welcome anyone on our trips. We believe the more, the merrier.

Entry into attractions is not included in your ticket unless otherwise stated.

UniLife Trip Leaders, staff or suppliers may take photos of you/the group for promotional purposes. By booking onto the trip, you consent to your likeness being used in these images or videos.

If you DO NOT want to be included in these photos or videos, you can opt out at any time by emailing us at support@unilifeuk.com with your name, booked trip and ‘opt out’ in the subject line.
