  • We begin our trip with a coach pick-up from the pick-up point. Our trip leaders will ensure that everyone has arrived and is ready to depart.
  • Your day will start with a visit to Whitby Abbey, perched dramatically on the cliffs overlooking the North Sea. Explore the abbey ruins and take in the breathtaking coastal views.
  • You’ll have free-time in the afternoon to explore the rest of everything Whitby has to offer.
  • We’ll then be returning back to the pick-up spot after an unforgettable day.
  • Stroll through Whitby’s historic streets, including Church Street and Henrietta Street. Admire the picturesque houses, shops, and traditional fish and chip restaurants.
  • Visit the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, housed in the birthplace of the famous explorer. Explore the museum’s exhibits and learn about Captain Cook’s voyages.
  • Take a leisurely walk around Whitby Harbour and its two piers. Enjoy the maritime atmosphere, watch the fishing boats, and take in views of the town and the sea.
  • Climb the famous 199 Steps to St. Mary’s Church at the top. Explore the churchyard and enjoy panoramic views of Whitby, the harbour, and the abbey.
