We kick things off in Bath, a city that somehow manages to feel historic, elegant, and laid-back all at once. Think honey-coloured buildings, cafés that smell incredible, and streets that were basically designed for wandering. It’s the perfect place to unwind, explore, and settle into the trip. When the evening lights hit the city? It’s a whole vibe.
The next morning, we head straight into the past — like, way into the past — with a visit to Stonehenge. Standing in front of those massive stones is surreal. No matter how many times you’ve seen photos, being there in person hits different. It’s mysterious, impressive, and kind of mind-blowing to think about how long they’ve been there.
Then it’s off to Salisbury, a town packed with medieval character. You’ll see one of the most stunning cathedrals in the country, wander around charming old streets, and soak up that cosy, historic atmosphere that makes Salisbury feel timeless.

08:00 – We begin our trip with a coach pick-up from the pick-up point in Coventry. Our Trip Leaders will ensure that everyone has arrived and is ready to depart.
Once we arrive in Bath, your Trip Leaders will get you checked into the hostel. You can drop your bags, freshen up, and get ready to explore.
Next up: a private, guided walking tour of Bath. Meet your local guide and step straight into the city’s history, stories, and highlights as your tour begins.
After the tour, you’ll have the rest of the evening free to enjoy Bath at your own pace. Grab some food, explore the city’s night-time charm, or chill with your group — it’s your time to make the most of this beautiful city.
This morning, your Trip Leaders will get you checked out of the hostel before hopping back on the coach for the next part of the journey: Stonehenge. Get ready to come face to face with one of the most iconic ancient landmarks in the world. Your entry ticket is included, so all you need to do is turn up!
After exploring the site and visitor centre, we continue on to Salisbury. Wander through its historic streets, admire the cathedral, and enjoy some relaxed time in this classic English town.
17:00 – Once we have finished the day, we return to the coach and begin our journey back to Coventry with tired legs, a full camera roll, and a weekend filled with great memories.
All your travel between Coventry, Bath, Stonehenge and Salisbury is sorted. Your return seats are booked on a private coach, so no stress over tickets or crowded platforms. Just hop on, put your playlist on, and relax as the scenery rolls past your window. Comfortable and easy, the perfect start and end to your weekend adventure.

I really enjoyed how the group leaders Amelie and Maia way of making us feel like we were on the right track; and made us feel safe by their friendly and reliable energy. Pick up and organisation was great! The hostel was amazing! We also had a city tour which I really enjoyed. Our Trip Leaders were very friendly and welcoming.
I recently joined a trip with UniLife UK, and it was an amazing experience. Our Trip Leaders, Ema and Gimhan, were incredibly creative in organising optional schedules outside of the main walking tour. These optional activities were really helpful, especially for those of us who weren’t sure where to go or needed ideas for places to visit.
You will have free time on your trip to spend and explore how you wish! We may include recommendations on the trip page or in the itinerary, but these are merely suggestions and you are under no obligation to follow them.
If you are out and about, we strongly encourage you to explore with other members of your group and keep the trip leader up-to-date with your plans.
All our trips are fully risk-assessed and our suppliers adhere to our health and safety standards. Please note that, unless an aspect of the trip is explicitly mentioned in the ‘What’s Included’ section of your trip page, it does not fall under our health and safety policy and therefore participants partake in any additional activities at their own risk.
We ask participants to be mindful of their own safety and to inform their trip leader of anything that they feel could be a potential hazard or concern.
Travel insurance is not included as standard in our ticket costs unless specified in the trip inclusions of your trip page. We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance for your trip to avoid additional costs in the instance of an accident. If you are a UK citizen, you will already have coverage from the NHS and therefore do not require medical insurance.

If you have purchased add-ons, You will be provided the necessary information and your ticket prior to arrival at your destination. If for any reason the activity gets cancelled, or is unable to run, you will receive a full refund of the add-on within 14 days of being notified.
Unfortunately, we can’t provide refunds for the trip deposit. However, If you can no longer attend the trip, it may be possible to sell your ticket to another participant.
You can do this by contacting support@unilifeuk.com with your name, the trip you are travelling on, and full name, e-mail and phone number of the person taking your ticket. If you are struggling to find someone, we would suggest asking your committee first.
