Dublin

Duration: 4 days

When you think of student weekend breaks, Dublin isn’t usually the first destination to come to mind. However, this is one City that you don’t want to forget about. The streets and buildings feel pleasantly familiar, yet surprisingly different, with the city evolving into a hub of music, art and literature that has inspired millions over the last 100 years.

Although the country is far more than its stereotypes, there is no doubt that Ireland does pubs better than anyone. More than just a watering hole, these establishments are dotted all over the city, with vibrant atmospheres and a magnificent range of ciders and ales to leave your mouth watering. If you like live music too, many will be showing live performances of local artists, with both traditional folk music and new takes on modern hits. This city is ideal for a weekend break and might catch you by surprise if you take a chance on Dublin!
