What bag can I take?
Checked against the airlines' own pages on 7 October 2026
One small bag that fits under the seat (about 40 x 30 x 20 cm). That's it, unless your trip page says otherwise. Coach trips and the Euro Trip: a normal suitcase, no limits.
Do this
- Check your account for the airline and the exact sizes for your trip.
- Want the bigger bag? Add it before the deadline shown there. After that the airline has closed the booking and we usually can't.
- Measure your bag. Gate staff use a sizer. Too big means the airline's penalty on the spot.

The airline’s own page is the final word on the day.
The info letter says “under-seat bag only” but I bought the big bag
The letter describes the standard ticket. Your account shows the bag against your booking and it’s printed on your boarding pass. You’re fine.
Can I take a rucksack and a handbag?
One item on a standard ticket. A handbag inside the rucksack is fine. You can’t share a big bag with a friend either; it’s tied to one booking.
